About
Welcome to the Museum Cafe & Coffee Bar, a delightful culinary gem nestled next to the museum on Oxford Road in Manchester. With a focus on creating a warm, inviting atmosphere, this cafe stands out as a perfect retreat for locals and visitors alike.
One of the standout features of the Museum Cafe is its commitment to fresh, vegetarian, and plant-based dishes. Diners rave about the wide selection of offerings, with highlights including their breakfast deal, featuring a delicious cheese omelette served in a barm, complemented by a soothing tea latte. The atmosphere here is equally commendable. Iram, a returning customer, describes it as the cleanest cafe in the area, ideal for families. “ This was my second time there because Its the most clean Cafe of our area and such a child friendly place where I saw families having lunch with kids in a lovely day . Me and my friends ordered hot drink and I had croissant.their bakery is always really fresh. I would recommend their Americano. ”
“ Flat white hot strong and hot Mozzarella and Mediterranean vegetables focaccia nice and tasty. Service great and very happy to help. ”
“ Beautifully light and clean cafe, range of seating and accessible through the museum entrance. Quiche was beautifully made, salad and potato salad was lush. Oat milk coffee was fab too. Pricing seemed fair, 11.55 for coffee and lunch is fair enough for me anyway. The menu is vegetarian and plant based, with a CO2 rating by your meals also so you can make an informed choice (loved this). Service was fab and friendly. I will be coming back again next time I'm in Manchester. ”
“ The cafe is perfect for a coffee or a proper meal. Prices are good for the quality of the food, especially recommend the breakfast deal. Love that the whole menu is vegetarian. ”
“ I called in here on my way to the museum on a Monday morning. Quite quiet, I really like the museum theme of the place, nice artwork that looks like it was straight out of a Victorian encyclopaedia. Coffee was good and a great selection of cakes too. For tea lovers there looks to be a fine assortment of brews as well. Staff were courteous, helpful and friendly. Will definitely call again. ”
“ I love visiting here for the 3.95 breakfast meal deal - it’s great value for money in my opinion! The staff are all really lovely and friendly (and even make these cool coffees!). It can also be a good place to do a quick bit of work as there are some tables with plugs, looking out onto the street which creates a nice working atmosphere, though it can get busy. The pastry’s and barms are really nice, and the coffee is always served nice and hot too! A good light cozy spot with a very friendly atmosphere. ”
“ There was a dinosaur in my coffee im so so happy. ”
